Sunday February 28, 2021 -Church and Aztec Adventures!!!

This morning we were blessed to go to church with a ward here in Aztec, New Mexico.  The bishop was so cool and asked us a lot of questions about our trip.  My parents went with us.  The talks were so good and we were all uplifted. This stake is wonderful.

Because church was at 11 AM, we were able to spend time together this morning.  As a family we decided to fast today for a few things that we have been discussing.

After church and after our family fast,  I made everyone French toast Magnolia Table style!!!  It was a hit!!  The kids all said that this was their favorite French toast.  I have to agree.  It was seriously delicious. Not bad for living in a trailer!!!

The Aztec Ruins National Monument was about two minutes away, walking.  After we had done all we needed to do for church, we walked over to see the ruins.  The Aztecs didn't actually live there.  It was the Native Indians. But still so dang cool.

Asher flipping over the Aztec Ruins!!!

"Stay on the path Taj"!!

Can you tell that we like Asher's flip pictures???  It's fun!!

The bishop of the ward told us to go out to this wilderness area.  He said that they have found dinosaur eggs and all sorts of crazy cool stuff there.  We were intrigued so after the Aztec Monument, we left to go explore the wilderness!!!  Oh man!!!  This place was cool.  It reminded us of the Badlands back in South Dakota, but better!!!!  The sandstone formations that we found just blew us away.  We found ourselves in a maze of endless wonder.  The water had formed this area into a serious play land.  Certain areas looked like small cities that fairies would have lived in.  Needless to say, everyone had a blast running around, climbing and enjoying God's creation.  I got my Photography on!!!!!

Coolest pictures of Asher back flipping!!!

"And that is a _____ track". hahahaha

Isn't this the funniest picture!!  I LOVE it!!!

This was part of the maze we played in.  The water had carved out a squiggly path for us to follow.  It was so amazing.

Here is the fairy city.

My sweetheart!!

That was so much fun to be together and explore this amazing country we live in!!!  On our way home, the sunset showed us its beauty and we again praised God for his handy work on this earth!!

I made everyone crock pot chicken for dinner.  It was very yummy!!  We had the most wonderful day together.  That's what families are all about!!!

OK everyone.  Here they are!!!! The pictures we have been waiting for!!!  Here is Cross when he got baptized.  Look how happy he is!!!

And look at that great suit he is wearing!!!!!
