This was the best shot I could get today of us at church. Hahahaha. We felt so blessed to be back in our home ward. Our Ward Family is the best. Everyone welcomed us back with warm hugs and lots of questions;). The boys blessed and passed the Sacrament and caught up with their buddies. Everyone commented on how tall my kids have gotten. It's true, they are all so tall now.
I got to join the Young Women and their outside lesson. Pepper came too even though she isn't officially in YW's yet.
Look at all these beautiful YW!! I love them all!!!
My girl Kim Fortuna!!!
These are the Williams!! After church, we went to their house to talk over all the logistics of staying in Hawaii. They own a condo in Hawaii and are letting us stay in it!!! They are the most loving and giving people. We love y'all and thank you so much!!!

Then we couldn't leave without having a little LaTuna time!!! The Fortuna family is our family. Our combined name is LaTuna :)). hahahaha. We've missed them so much. It was good for everyone to spend time together and catch up.

These two are two peas in a pod. Taj and Ryker are meant to be buddies in this life even with the age difference.
Brody and Asher getting some chess on!!
Look at Pepper. Hahahaha
When we left the Fortuna's we drove by our house to check on it. Our renters have been wonderful. A lot of people have asked me if they've been good and paid their rent even with Covid, and Yes, they have paid and been the best renters. Our house looked happy and the landscape looked beautiful. See you in four months house!!! I forgot how much I love that avocado ranch behind my house.

Before we left our neighborhood, we stopped by our neighbors house to drop in and surprise them real quick because the kids wanted to see their dog Chiffon. We dog sit for them and so basically Chiffi has become our dog. Chiffi was licking the kids and loving on them. It was heart warming:)). Erica and Royal were so cute when we surprised them. How wonderful it was to see them and talk briefly. We love our neighborhood.

After all those visits, we were exhausted. But. . . more fun and family was waiting for us. Nena planned a family dinner so we could see more family!!!!

The Gholdston's came too to see us. Merleene and I look so much better here :)))))
Red Nana and Papa Roland came!!!
Graham and Brian came!!!

Heidi and Gordon came from Camarillo with their four cute kids.
Nena bought this delicious cake from Break Basket to celebrate Brian's and mine birthday's, because we weren't able to get together as a family for them. Oh man!! That cake was heavenly!!
Pepper made this card for us!!

Here we are - the family!!! We feel so blessed. Thank you Nana for working so hard to make tonight wonderful. We love y'all.

I hope that when the trip is over you will still share all your adventures with all your family not in Cali. I miss you so much.
ReplyDeleteThat's was a jam-packed few days for sure! I'm sorry we didn't get to visit more than about 20 seconds (and a hug) at church. We'd love to get together if you have time after Hawaii (and don't mind old people, haha). Please thank Graham and Asher for their diligent service in administering and passing the Sacrament. It was like they were never gone. You have so many dear friends here, and the Williams are amazing for sharing their condo with you. Have a wonderful time!
