Today we drove about 3 hours to Newbury Park, CA. Scotty's parents live in Newbury Park and we are going to stay with them until we jump on the plane to Hawaii.
Here is Homie in front of the LaBass manor. We had to unpack our suitcases, bikes, tools and other things that were in the storage area. We packed everything in the garage.
After Homie was ready, we drove him down to Oxnard to C & S RV and Truck Service. This is where Homie will stay while we go to Hawaii. These guys are going to do some maintenance on Homie and have him all ready to finish our trip when we get back. We left a long list of things that we wanted them to do. They looked at the list, looked at us and kind of laughed. They only have two weeks to do all our stuff and that probably won't happen. We prioritized the list and asked them to make sure to do the top things and then if they get to the other stuff, we will feel lucky :). Honestly, it was very hard to leave Homie. We felt like we left our kid at daycare and were sad to drive away.
Later that night, Scotty took Graham and Taj to Sapwi Bike Park in Thousand Oaks. Graham was in heave. He has been so excited to hit this bike park ever since he found out that they expanded the park. Taj rocked it for a 6 year old!!!! He got some serious air. Asher was so funny. The second that I gave him the green light, he was gone with his friends. He was gone all night. We only saw him when it was time to be home for bed. Hahahahaha. I don't expect to see him much while we are here.
