This morning we packed the trailer in between rain storms.  We drove an easy two hours south east to Crater of Diamonds State Park here in Arkansas.  People can actually dig for diamonds here.  If you find anything, you can keep it!!!  We will dig tomorrow!!
As for today. . . .We did school and chilled.  Sooooo, if you ever come here to dig for diamonds, don't stay in the campground we are staying in.  We are in Miners Campground.  It's super trashy.  If you come, stay at the Crater of Diamonds State Park campground.  They have sites with full hookups and they are huge sites.  It is only $34 per night too.  We are only here two nights so we are good in our dumpy place;))).

Taj made a goal to draw, cut and paint a wooden shark.  Here it is!!!!!!!  He did such a great job.
As part of our History study today, we learned about the signing of the Declaration of Independence.  I have to be honest, I have never read the whole thing.  Have you?  If you haven't, then listen HERE   We listened to it and read it and talked about it.  We all decided that we love this document.  It was an inspired document.  We truly believe that we all have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to talk to my kids about all this.  Our country is a chosen land.  God will see to it that those who deny Him will not prosper in His land.
I'm so grateful for a prophet during these times!!

Thanks for the Patrick Henry speech. I pray and pray that somehow our country turns around. I know that God knows, and I am so thankful for our Prophet. I hope you find some diamonds. Sorry about the trashy campsite.
