Friday January 29, 2021 - Nana Nena!!!!!! and Magnolia!!!!!!

Early this morning Scotty, Graham and the Perry boys all went bike riding in Cameron Park.  We are so grateful for their friendship.  It has been so, so fun to get to know them and play with them!!

Around noon, we met Nena, Jody (Scotty's cousin) and Ell at Magnolia Table!!!!  Yes!!! The restaurant by the Gaines family.  Holy Moly!!  I have never eaten at a restaurant this good in my life!!  It was incredible.  A must do.  We didn't know how it worked to eat there.  If you don't make a reservation, you will wait to eat anywhere from and hour to two hours.  If you want to make a reservation, you have to do it  days in advanced.  We didn't know that so we ended up waiting for like an hour and a half.  It was crazy.  If you ever want to go eat there, make sure to make a reservation.
Once we got in, we about died of yumminess.  Taj looked at me and said that he was in heaven.  Everyone said that their food was amazing.  Amazing food, and amazing family to share it with.  Could it get any better?

Then to do exactly what brought us to Waco, we went to Magnolia Farms.  Ahhhhhhhh!!  I was so excited.   We shopped and ate from their bakery and the kids played baseball.  So, so, so much fun.  I loved it there.

Magnolia closed at 5 PM.  When they kicked us out, we walked over to the Dr. Pepper Factory!!  I was told to not do the tour, just go get a Dr. Pepper float.  So we did.  All the kids got a float and I got some great pics with Pepper and the Dr. Pepper signs!!!

Our next stop was back to the trailer.  Jody had never seen our trailer so we took her and Ell to see it and to get Scotty.  At the trailer the kids decided that they wanted to go to the skatepark.  The park had lights so we agreed to it.  I mean, the day wasn't long enough right??  hahaha.  After packing up the truck with all the scooter and helmets, we hit the skatepark.  Ell had never been on a scooter.  She learned so fast and loved it.  Pepper mastered some serious rollerblading skills.  It was such a great night.  We ended up leaving the park around 9:30 PM.  It was a long but wonderful day.  We loved seeing Nana Nena.  We all sure missed her.

We brought our fire ring to stay warm!!!
