Farewell 2020
Most people have hated 2020 but we on the other hand, have had an absolutely amazing year.  I don't say that too loud.  We have been incredibly blessed to be able to enjoy our trip. We have grown closer as a family and really enjoy being together.  We have increased our faith in our Savior and have learned to trust in Him more than ever.  Our patriotism has exploded with pride as we have been touched by the beauty of our country and of the amazing citizens who contribute to the meaning of "Americans".  We love our country, our God and our family!!!  Thank you 2020 for allowing us to grow and learn this year.
We started off today with donuts!!  So if we all get back a little chubbier, then you know why hahahahah.
It literally rained all day today until it was time for us to go. At the time we had planned to go to Memphis, it stopped raining!!!  Amazing!!!
In Memphis on New Years Eve, there is usually a huge party on Beale Street just like Times Square in NY.  Due to Covid, no one was there but us:))). We got to walk up and down Beale street with no interaction of other people.  The gift shops were empty and the restaurants had no waits.  For us, it was amazing.  We just felt really bad for the business owners.  This year has been death for them.  It makes me sad.

This shot is seriously out of a movie.  I love it here.

Our New Years Eve dinner was at Blues City Cafe.  They are known for their ribs.  Scotty got ribs and the rest of us had chicken.  hahahahah.  This was a great New Years Eve.  We really enjoyed Beale Street.  Not trashy at all.

The girls bathroom.  hahahah. Pepper and I peed together :))))

When we got back to the trailer, Scotty and I did laundry.  I know, very romantic!!!  It was for us:)). We went to bed early and prepped to leave tomorrow.  Tomorrow is a travel day!!!
Farewell 2020!!

Happy New Year! Your celebration looked fun. I wish every street had a "manager" like the guy you met. There are too many businesses closed, too many people out of work. There has got to be a way around this and keep people healthy also. Be safe in your travels (you've probably already arrived). No, I can't even imagine your family coming home with any weight on because of a few donuts. Haha!
