My handsome Scotty got out to ride again today. I'm so glad. He is needing the exercise with work being so busy these days.
Graham and I crossed paths with him.
The Alamo
Not only did we get to walk all over this place, we got to listen to the tour and learn more about The Alamo!! I never found a basement!!!! We basically took away that this is the place that Texas won it's independence from Mexico. A big battle raged here. During the battle, soldiers and families were housed here.
Before the battle, Spanish Priests used it as their place of worship and a whole bunch of other religious things. They also made a huge water way that brought water into the area. The water is still flowing through that water way.

(Insert music notes here). . Davie. . .Davie Crocket. . .
An old family bible. So cool!!
The water way.

San Antonio has a great river walk area. It's gorgeous. We spent the rest of the night there. This is also where I lost our bag of goodies from The Alamo - my magnet and pencils and other really cool things. My bad. I put the bag down to take a picture and forgot to pick it up.
:(. I am still so sad. The mug I got from the Alamo was pretty cool too :(
Along the river walk are a bunch of stores and restaurants. I bet this place is the place to be when all the Covid crap is done with. We decided to eat dinner at The Hard Rock Cafe!!

There he is again. . laying down:)

Tomorrow is a travel day for us so we needed to get gas and pack Homie. We packed the bikes and everything so that we can leave early tomorrow. We have a very long drive to Big Bend National Park.

I hope that you have a safe dirve ❤
