Saturday February 6, 2021 - Travel Day to San Antonio

We spent the morning packing up the trailer.  For now we are off to our next destination!!  Each kid pitched in and did their part to pack up and we were off before we knew it!!!

Before we left, Scotty spent time cleaning out the tool chest and the back of the truck.  Just like at home, if you don't keep  up with the clutter, it becomes a big mess. The problem with smaller spaces is that it becomes a mess much faster.  We find ourselves always cleaning out our "small spaces".  

Farewell beautiful lake with cat fish in it that didn't nip at the gross chicken livers that Scotty made me buy and are still in my freezer (insert barf).  

And we were off.  . . . .

Our drive was about 3 hours.  After two hours we stopped at a       Buc-ee's for lunch and gas.  I will miss  Buc-ee's when we leave Texas.  

We opened up the back patio to eat lunch on.  I love our Homie.  He is the best!!!!  He takes good care of us!!!

Pepper loves cotton-candy.  Buc-ee's happens to have the best cotton-candy. 

Around 4PM we arrived safely to our KOA in San Antonio.  Oh how we love our KOA's.  Seriously though, they are the best campgrounds out there.  

We have a beautiful spot with lots of space.  We put down both patios, the side and the back, and opened Homie up.  The sun was so warm today. It was like 78 degrees.  After the kids had set up, they went to the park to play.  Pepper and I rollerbladed around and Scotty worked on his bike.  It was a happy day!!!
