Tuesday February 9, 2021 - Mission San Jose

Scotty got another real cool picture of Roland Rd on his bike ride this morning.

My crazy Asher went with me on my run today.  Half way through the run, he found this hacky sack and I became his moving target for the rest of the run.  He totally pegged me a few times.  It made me run faster!!!!  Then we passed under a freeway.  He thought, "I'm going to throw this ball over the freeway and see if it lands on the other side".  Next thing I know, he threw the ball and it cleared the freeway and landed on the other side almost hitting me.  hahahahah.  He keeps me on my toes.

We finished some school work and decided that for school today, we were going to learn more about the missions here in San Antonio.  We've been to the mission in Santa Barbara so it was wonderful to see the differences and learn why these missions are important.  There are five missions here with in miles of each other.  The city has actually paved a pedestrian path that connects all the missions.  I'm not sure the kids were very intrigued today, but I was!!!  ahhahaah

PS. They had the most incredible trees at this mission.
