Graham helped me to decompress today. He rode his bike while I went running! We are in a beautiful place.

Here are Homie and Doug. Snug in their campsite. This campground is right behind a hotel. I believe it's the only campground in this NP that can hold large campers. So if any of you plan to come here, you need to stay here at the Big Bend RV Resort. We are 3 miles away from the entrance to the park and there is a gas station/convenience store right by us.
The kids finished their school for the week. Then we packed up and went to explore Big Bend Nation Park!!

Big Bend is full of trails and gorgeous scenic views. It kind of reminds me of the Badlands NP without all the color. The kids and I didn't have a lot of sunlight time so we found the first trail we could (the Ward Spring Trail) and jumped out to explore it. This trail is along the Chisos Mountain range. Most if not all the mountains here were made from volcanoes!!!! There was lava rock everywhere!!!

Isn't this amazing!! Blue skies and beauty everywhere!!!

I let Asher drive home. No one was on the roads and he needs practice.
Scotty and I booked an online class for Valentines Day!! We tried to watch it but the internet here stinks bad. Oh, just an FYI, our phones don't work very well here. We can get texts but we can't text back. So if y'all want to talk to us, you have to call us!! Anyways, the class didn't work and Scotty was hungry so we decided it was date time.

This is Scotty's favorite company name hahahah. We saw it on our way out.
We drove over to the next city and found this cool restaurant open. They had live music and great Mexican food. Happy Early Valentine's Day!!

I'm glad you got a date night
