We joined a ward here in San Antonio for church today. Asher and Graham were able to help pass the sacrament. The members were very nice and we felt our Heavenly Fathers spirit. Church is the best!!!
On the way home, we came across Roland Street. This one is for you Papa Roland!!!!!!
Because we got home early from church, we were able to tune into our home ward's Sacrament Fast and Testimony meeting. Oh man!! It was so wonderful to see all the faces of people that we love and miss. I hope y'all are OK that I put your faces on my blog!!

Some how I got the time wrong (dumb time zones) and I missed most of Sunday School. I tuned in near the end. I was sad. I looked forward to the lesson all week. Oof.
After all our church and Come Follow Me, the kids went fishing down at the pond that is here at our campground. They didn't catch anything, but it was a quiet bonding experience for them.

Pepper, Asher and I explored a trail that is right off of our campground.
This KOA rocks. It has everything. They have the fishing pond, parks, huge lots, propane, a menu you can order from, pool, trails and so much more. We will be super happy here!!
After some play, we drove about 13 minutes away to go see my grandfathers grave. This is the father of my mother. His name was Lilburn S. Deskins. He fought in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He is buried in a military cemetery.

I Zoomed my mom and dad so they could be there with us. Some how I didn't get a screen shot with my mom in it. Sorry mom!!

You'll love San Antonio! How nice that you got to visit your grandfather's grave.
ReplyDeleteIt was wonderful seeing you guys at church. I didn't email the lesson this week because we Zoomed, but I'll send it to you. We didn't get to cover everything in the time.
