When I went to checked on Asher this morning, he was sleeping with a big smile on his face. He is so adorable. I couldn't help myself, I had to take a picture. I just love this boy of mine.
Today we went into D.C. with Tiffany and her kids. We drove about an hour, then parked at a metro stop to take the metro into the city. We were worried about parking. Turns out the city was empty!! Thank you Covid. We had the run of the city!!!
Here we are at the metro station getting ready to board the train!!
No one was on the metro. It was awesome!!! The kids were able to mess around without bothering anyone!!!
Down Town DC!!!! We made it!
The only Smithsonian Museum that was open that we got tickets for was the American History Museum. I really wanted to hit the Museum of Natural History, but it was closed. No worries, we still had an amazing time exploring DC.
This is the first American flag!!!! We all were completely amazed to be looking at the first American Flag!!!
After the museum, we went outside to explore the National Mall!!! If more things were open and we had time, we probably could spend an entire week here.
Over priced food trucks are the best!!!! :)))
We ate lunch today in front of the Washington Monument. How cool is that???
The Washington Monument!!
The White House!!
The World War II Monument
The Abraham Lincoln Memorial
We got scooters for the kids so that Graham didn't have to walk around on his crutches all day.
Smithsonian Castle
Museum of Natural History
A Christmas tree riding a bike!!!
The Capitol Building.
Botanical Gardens
Back on the metro to head to our car. Today was amazing. I loved see all the nations buildings and breathing in D.C. No crazy stories today. Just a really cool experience to see the National Mall!!!!
