Originally we planned to go to 6 Flags today, but unfortunately the park was closed. It wasn't very hard to know what else we could do! Our campground is one mile from the Adirondacks and from Lake George which is one of the finger lakes here in New York. We killed two birds with one stone. We drove up to spend the day at Lake George while enjoying the Adirondacks!!! To start the day right, Asher and I went on a really cool trail. Lake George has so many trails and walk ways. I love it here for that. 
School was amazing. Taj was so proud of himself for finishing two of his school books. He is learning so much faster with me then he did last year in school. I'm so proud of him. 
When the kids were all done with school, we packed up and headed to Lake George. The first place we stop at was the skate park. The kids didn't really like this skate park. They said that it was more for street skate boarding. 
We spent the day playing on a large grass field, walking around the lake, admiring the fall colored trees and enjoying the fresh air. The Adirondacks are so beautiful. Lake George was clean and sparkly. Absolutely heavenly. 
Then we did our favorite thing and got the local's best ice cream!!! I got peanut butter pie ice cream. It was SO good!!! 
We went home, ate dinner and packed up the trailer. Tomorrow is a travel day for us. We will be going to Boston!!!!
