Sunday October 4, 2020 General Conference and The Hudson River

General Conference was absolutely amazing today.  The spirit was so strong and I saw each of my kids feel it and recognize it.  I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and I love our prophet, President Nelson along with all the other leaders.  These are truly the last days and we all need to be ready to usher in the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I was praying for a few answers to questions that I had and I felt the spirit speak to my heart.  I feel so blessed to have been able to take my family out of the world, and to be able to increase our testimonies and grow closer as a family through our version of "Wholesome Recreational Activities".  I love my family!                                                                                                                  This is what conference looked like over here.  Laundry drying outside, Taj chugging water, French toast and Comfy's.

Asher thought he was so funny.  He took off my shoe and started tickling my foot.  hahahah

In between sessions, we went for a little walk on a trail that I found.   This trail curved along the Hudson River.  We learned that the Hudson River starts at the Tear of the Clouds lake up in northern New York.  Later this month we will be in Manhattan and will be able to see where it ends which is in between New York and Jersey, eventually flowing into the Atlantic Ocean.

After we got some sunshine and our energy out, we went back for the last session of conference.  We were so tickled to see our friend Jeremy Jaggi speaking. He and his wife Amy were our friends when we lived in Newbury Park.  What a great family!

After conference, I had to pull out all of the winter clothes that  I packed. It's that time. The weather is cold and it's time to wear pants and jackets.  Then I vacuum packed all the summer clothes that we will be able to use next summer.

  1. Great scenery! Yes, wasn't it an amazing Conference!!?? We are so very blessed. So many speakers seemed to be speaking directly to me, and I was really touched by the video that was shown at the women's meeting showing how sisters around the world have been affected by the Pandemic, yet blessed through service.
