Friday October 23, 2020. Hello Virginia, Abe and Tiffany

Before we pulled away on our 3 hour drive towards Virginia, Scotty ran 5 miles with me. See!!!!  We get alone time 😉

Today we drove in four states; New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia!!!  And....  I know where each of those states are on the map!!!!!  ðŸ˜‚😂. The drive was very easy.  We got hit up with some crazy tolls though.  We had to pay $35 to cross a bridge from Jersey into Delaware.  Oof!!!!

My cousin Abe lives in Virginia with his wife Tiffany and their 3 kids.  I haven't seen Abe for about 20 years.  When I made the itinerary, I knew that we had to stop and see him.  His sister is Shelley, the cousin we stopped to see in Las Vegas.  I seriously love their family.  They have 2 other siblings.  One lives over seas, so I won't see her, but the other lives here in Virginia, we  will see him on Sunday!!
Abe invited us to stay at his house for the entire week that we are here in Virginia.  I was hesitant to do so because we are 6 people.  But in the end I thought it might be a good break for us from the trailer.
Abe arranged a place for us to park Homie for the week.  Homie will be staying at the house of Leland and Patricia Phipps.  Thank you Leland and Patricia!!!
After we dropped Homie off, we drove over to Abe's house to meet the family and settle in for the night. I hardly took pictures today. It was just so nice to relax and be with family.
Tiffany had dinner all ready for us!! She is amazing by the way.  We spent the night chatting and catching up.  The kids played and explored most of the evening.

Kids in order left to right:
Graham, Asher, Pepper, Keira, Taj, Emma, Drake

  1. Family is everything! How wonderful to connect. Do you feel like you're in your own episode of "Relative Race?" 😊
