Sat June 27, 2020 - Goodbye Cheyenne Hello Casper

We traveled today, Saturday, so we were in no hurry to leave.  Check out time was 12pm so that gave Scotty  and Graham time to hit the trails for a bike ride.  The trails they road were called the Cheyenne trails.

While Scotty and Graham were gone, I took Taj and Pepper to say goodbye to all their  favorite animals.  The cats were definitely  our favorites. They are so sweet.  Our favorite cat's name is Butter Butt.  He  is gentle and snugly.    After we said our goodbye's to the cats, we went and saw the cows and all the other animals by the barn.

When we were all back at the trailer, we packed up.  It didn't take long.  We are getting fast.  Then we drove off!!!!  We are in the eastern part of Wyoming.  These are the view we had while driving.

The famous Jackalope was on the mountain:)
We arrived at our KOA around 3pm.  We set up super fast.  This KOA is a smaller one but very well kept.  They have new owners who happen to be super young and very nice.  We are actually in the small town of Bar Nunn which is about 5 minutes from Casper.  I hear people say that they love the small town feel.  The verdict is still out on that one for me.                                                                                                                                                                          We all needed some down time so this is what we did for about an hour.                                                                                                                When I noticed the kids starting to get bored I took them swimming at the KOA's pool. Then we went across the street to play.  There is a tennis court, basketball court and a park there.  We spent a couple of hour playing and meeting the locals.

Tennis is Asher and Grahams new thing.  They crack me up.  Neither of them know what they are doing but boy are they competitive with each other.  We bought rackets last week for them because they have been playing a lot.  Asher was joking around and said that he was going to join the high school tennis team hahahahaha.  I told him to stick with wrestling.

When it got dark we went out and lit some fireworks.  We only did a few flowers and one flying thing.  It was really fun, until we got in trouble.  A police man drove over to let us know that fireworks are completely illegal here in this county.  We were so shocked.  We bought these fireworks here in Wyoming but they are illegal in most counties here.  Hummmmmm.  The police man was super nice and talked with us for a while.  He figured that some out-of-towners were lighting off the fireworks.  We all laughed together and he told us of some cool things to do while we are here. OOPS.  we sure are the trouble makers these days:)))
