FRIDAY JUNE 5, 2020, PADDLE BOARDING AT QUAIL CREEK

                                             Happy one week to us!!!!  We have been on our crazy adventure for a week now.  This week has gone by so fast.  Here's to 14 months of crazy fun!!!!!   We went paddle boarding for the very first time today.   We started out with Asher, Graham and I on paddle  boards.  Taj and Pepper were in kayaks.  We rented them out for 2 hours from a company that is located right on Quail Creek.  Crazy thing here - the owner of the paddle board shop is from Simi!!!!  In fact, he is good friends with our good friends the Jagards back in Simi. Small world.  There were a lot of boats out making fun waves for us to try and balance on :).  After about 30 minutes Pepper and Taj both wanted to try the paddle boards.  They both handled them like pros.  I was impressed.  It was around 100 degrees but the water was cold and refreshing.  We really had fun and even Asher was happy and really nice today. hahaha.                                                                                                                                                                                                     

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              After playing on the Creek we all went to Subway with Papa and had lunch.  It was so great to be able to sit down and enjoy our food.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Then we went to a park with a splash pad and played with grandma and grandpa until we were all super tired.                                                       

I gave Papa this shirt of A G and P a long time ago. It was so awesome when he showed up wearing it. 

                                      Papa is the only one who can challenge Asher to chess.  The rest of us don't last more than 2 minutes with him :)
