Happy Sunday!!!! This morning we had our home church with my parents at their house. We did our own Sacrament meeting then we did our studies in the Come Follow Me Manuel. 
My parents took us up towards Snow Canyon to a place called Mountain Meadow Massacre. The story of this event is so sad. Lots of misunderstandings. There was a super heavy feeling there but I just love what the church has done to show respect and love towards the victims and their families.

| In this field is where the wagons were all circled up and where the militia surrounded them. We were able to walk around the area and imagine how the battle went down. |
On our way back to my parents house we drove through Snow Canyon and enjoyed the lava tubes and all the lava rocks around. then the coolest thing happened...... WE SAW A TURTLE CROSS THE ROAD!!!!! 
Now we have to go back to the trailer and pack it all up because we leave tomorrow. 
We went to Mountain Meadows last fall. What a story! I am so glad the church, particularly President Monson, has tried to tell the story accurately.
