WEDNESDAY JUNE 3,2020 PETROGLYPHS

                                          St. George Utah!!  This place is gorgeous.  Hot, but just beautiful. I went for a morning run this morning and the views just blew me away.                                                The first thing the kids did today was jump in the pool.  Throwing Taj everywhere seems to be the fun game for everyone!!!  Then they had a game of Skip Bo

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           The St. George and surrounding areas have a ton of petroglyphs carved into rocks and sandstone.  The petroglyphs are  from Indians that lived probably about 1,000 years ago.  My dad took all of us to go see some.  We had to drive on this wild dirt road to get there.  The dirt road was probably  5-8 miles.  I swear it was  a thousand degrees over there.  SO HOT.  It was a good thing that we brought a lot of water.                                                                 Our dirty cars after the drive

Especially when its super hot!!!! We couldn't help ourselves. We had to get one.                                             

TUESDAY June 2, 2020 - Goodbye Las Vegas - Hello St. George Utah!!!

We call this gas station Grahams Gas station.  Why you ask??  Because when Graham was 3 he shut the entire gas station down by pushing that red button right by the door :))))))

                                          This morning we said Goodbye to Las Vegas and to Austin :(.  We had so much fun. After packing up Homie, we drove to St. George.  It was a super easy drive.  The campground that we are parked at is called the KOA of St. George/Hurriane.  So naturally I thought it was by St. George.  Well, it's not as close as I thought it would be.  We are like 20 exits away from my parents in St. George.  When I realized how far away it was, I was a bit annoyed.  But then we drove in to the campground and I had a look around.  WOW!!!  This place is so beautiful.  It is basically in Leads UT not St. George.  Leads is a tiny tiny town.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              After we got all set up my parents came with dinner!!!!  We ate yummy food and played games and planned our week together.  They were super surprised by how tall Asher and Graham are.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          I decided that we needed some food so I found the closest grocery store to us.  Leed's Market.  The smallest Market I've ever been to.  Asher and I did some shopping. Then as we were checking out, the lady asked where we were from.  I said California.  She said what part.  I said Ventura County.  She said I'm from Simi.  I about dropped my jaw.  Really.  Here I am in Podunk Leeds and the first person I meet is from Simi!!!!  What the?????  Anyways, I was totally shocked.  How funny.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              The rest of the night was spent bike riding and swimming.  We are all tired now.
